The journey of Por Dee Kam began in 2017, when Ms. Toom (Prisana Wimalsiri), a mother of three in Bang Pakong, Thailand, wanted to serve her children delicious boneless gourami fish. She started slicing the fish into perfect bite-sized pieces and frying them until golden and crispy.

This simple act of love quickly turned into something much bigger. Friends and neighbors couldn’t get enough of the crispy, flavorful fish. And so, Por Dee Kam was born—not just as a snack, but as a heartfelt expression of care, tradition, and Thai flavor.

From One Kitchen to an Empowered Community

As demand grew, Toom didn’t stop at building a brand—she built a community. She invited local mothers, uncles, aunts, and elders—many of whom were retired or unemployed—to join her. Together, they tapped into their lifelong knowledge of traditional Thai fish preparation to create something truly meaningful.
